On every tested recipe
Figures use the serving assumption and ingredients from our real kitchen test. Flexible amounts mean a range may be more honest than a single number.
kJ, kcal, fat, saturates, carbohydrate, total sugars, fibre, protein and salt.
We distinguish naturally present sugars from free sugars added through honey, syrup, sugar or juice concentrates.
Useful nutrients and food components, alongside relevant salt, saturated-fat, sugar or energy trade-offs.
Known allergens, serving assumptions and practical swaps where they preserve the dish.
A plain-language example
We use careful language: an ingredient “contributes” a nutrient. We do not claim the dish treats or prevents illness.
They also contain water, fibre and naturally occurring sugars. Variety, ripeness and portion change the contribution.
The exact contribution depends on colour, type, freshness and the amount actually used.
They may also contribute saturated fat and salt, so the full recipe panel keeps both benefits and trade-offs visible.
They add flavour and energy quickly. A glug or handful is often one of the amounts that changes the estimate most.

Important to know
